No two small businesses are the same but we are all facing common challenges right now as we try and recover from COVID. The worst for us was the crippling shipping issues it created where shipping costs to import goods rose dramatically and we simply could not justify the knock-on effect it would have on our product prices. Unfortunately, we were advised these high costs will remain for the foreseeable future too.
With a little encouragement to try and source elsewhere, we've taken the plunge and fingers crossed, this new manufacturer can deliver the products with the high quality spec we are used to.
Whilst the cost of raw materials/shipping has increased, in today's economy, this is totally acceptable. The current consumer cash squeeze can't be ignored so we will continue to have quality scratch furniture products that are going to last. We have some beautiful designs lined up and the excitement for our new products is on the up!
